OUR STORY

A DREAM

On a Skype call in late 2012, we learned that girls were being tricked into sexual slavery, some sent as far away as China and Thailand. Trapped with no way out. We prayed for an opportunity to help in a BIG way.

AN OPPORTUNITY

Using our collective experience in business, a vision was formed to create a sustainable business that would provide ongoing funding for the rescue and long-term aftercare for Ugandan girls who have been tricked into sex slavery.

A NEW REALITY

The dream became reality late in 2018. Construction on Uganda’s first non-profit commercial pig farm was complete! We stocked the farm with the first sows and now have over 1000 piglets in varying stages of growth. At full scaling, the pig farm is expected to provide substantial profits for the ongoing rescue and long-term aftercare for girls, ultimately through multiple homes in Kampala. Upon healing and restoration, the girls will have training in specific skills before leaving the girls homes. Sewing/tailoring, cosmetology, culinary skills, etc. Some will even graduate from University. For many, Eternal Hope will provide the seed money for a new small business. We are always focused with them on their futures. This has proven vital for their confidence and hope.

The resilience, determination, and optimism of these survivors is remarkable! We are privileged to be a part of their redemption story.
