Faith’s Story

Face hidden to protect her identity

Faith was an adventurous spirit as a young lady, yearning for success.  One deceitful opportunity caused Faith to find herself trapped in horror, in of all places, China.

Through the work of our ministry partner, based in Guangzhou, China, Faith was rescued, introduced to the love of Jesus, and cared for until she was able to fly home to Uganda.  Once back home, she was welcomed into the girls home and cared for over several years. It was there she found spiritual and physical healing, restoration, and hope.  

Upon graduation from the girls home, Faith soon learned that she possessed a skill.  She was a natural salesperson. An entrepreneur was born! Faith now has two kiosk businesses where she sells women’s undergarments, towels, and children’s clothing.  Eternal Hope has been blessed to be the support which has enabled Faith to succeed. Not being content with her growing business, Faith set out to obtain her degree in cosmetology.  She succeeded, and now provides facials and massages at an upscale local hotel, while employing other survivors to oversee her businesses in her absence.  

Faith is an exceptional example of resilience, determination, and God’s grace. Eternal Hope supported Faith and she now mentors other survivors teaching them critical business skills for success.
